This banana ice-cream can be served as a lighter desert option or goes perfectly well with a mince pie (or pies) and Christmas pud!
ONE banana for every person you are serving (the riper the better)
One tsp. of your favourite spice (i.e. cinnamon, nutmeg…)
A handful of blueberries
This recipe is dairy/gluten/nut free and counts toward one of your five a day, and if you opt for the non-alcoholic option this recipe has no added sugar.
Firstly, peel then leave your bananas in the freezer overnight. Once frozen, chop them up and chuck them in the blender with your chosen spice and blend until smooth. Pour into serving dish, top with blueberries and serve. Simple!
